Perhaps the false teachings are those developed by men, who were assuming to know the mind of God?

If God is omniscient, infallible, loving, forgiving and accepting - then it stands to reason God made homosexual people, he meant to do so, they are exactly the way he intended them to be and he loves them just the way they are.

We know, with some certainty, the words of Jesus Christ. Whom we believe was speaking "the mind of God".

We are, in agreement. However, we Christians also believe that God gave us marriage in order for a stable relationship between man and woman to create life, and raise it with both mother and father. Men and women have different gifts to bring to that most important job of all. I am in agreement with the Pope concerning civil unions giving homosexual couples the same legal privileges of married couples. That is just "stuff". Marriage, however, is not the same as a civil union. The main purpose has always, throughout history, been to provide children with both mother and father. Something no homosexual union can give them.
