Notes on the ascendant Left's new terminology

Have you read Politically Correct Bedtime Stories by James Finn Garner?

I just re-read them all over Christmas.

Very funny.

Thanks Jennifer.

I get all the satire I need online.

When I read a book I generally want something with some real substance to it.

I've been reading a lot of African and Chinese history these days.

I'm just about finished with John K. Thornton's latest book, A History of West Central Africa to 1850 (Cambridge University Press, 2020).   A couple of other of his books which I've enjoyed are Africa and Africans in the Making of the Atlantic World, 1400-1800 (2nd ed., 1998) and A Cultural History of the Atlantic World, 1250-1820 (2012) also published by Cambridge.

There's a six volume set The History of Imperial China published by Harvard University that I can recommend to anyone.   Absolutely fascinating.

Actually I got Mary Trump's book for Christmas.

I honestly hope it will be the last I ever see or hear of him again, but I doubt that will be true.

It is absolutely incomprehensible to me why anyone would want to read a book about a currently live and active celebrity of any kind whether they be a movie or sports start or some media mogul or politician.

Well if the intro is anything to go by, she won't be holding back.

You get millions upon millions of words on the internet describing what a bad man Trump is.

And you can't get enough.  So you fork out $30 for a book written by a resentful member of the family to see if there's anything there you haven't read on the internet.

This offers a clue as to why 'liberals' aren't good with money.

It was given to me as a gift.

She is deconstructing Trump from the point of view of a clinical psychologist with a great deal of familiarity with the family.

It is helping me to understand why he does what he does.

You must have a lot more faith in psychology than I do.
