Katie, the Earth is not flat. That is not an opinion, it is fact.
But what exactly are you declaring is my opinion and not truth?
Was NO policemen bludgeoned with a fire extinguisher?
Did rioters NOT shit and urinate in the Capitol building?
Did Trump NOT encourage his minions to walk down Pennsylvania avenue and "stop the steal"?

I gave you examples of actual quotes made by democrat leaders outlining what they want to do to anyone that supported Trump. I even left out a few. You responded with more criticism of me supporting Trump. Yes, there was violence at the capital. No, I do not support that violence. I do not believe Trump incited violence, unless you believe a call to "peacefully and patriotically" march to the capital, incitement for riot. Yes, people were killed. No, the fact that I supported Trump does not make me a party to violence, unless you want to throw the same mantle over democrats that support BLM and ANTIFA.
I just read the entire transcript of that speech. It's hard to read, it's disjointed, doesn't make much sense, but NOWHERE does Trump tell that crowd to go to the Capital and riot. If you're interested, here is the link. https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/articles/2021-01-13/transcript-of-trumps-speech-at-rally-before-us-capitol-riot

When I write something, I try to say exactly, in so many words, what I mean. When you come back to me with what you THINK I mean, that is replacing my truth with your opinion.

There is a witch hunt for Trump the waste of time attempt at impeachment will only strengthen his supporters and will bring forth in the next election somebody who will have political acumen that Trump lacked .
The current level of hatred on the left is incredible and apparently if you voted for Trump you were illiterate , stupid and uneducated but if you voted for Biden you went to Harvard and wore the whitest of white shirts etc
WOW where is America heading , Biden can barely put two words together

There is no witch hunt for Trump.
That's just Confederate Nazi propoganda being pushed by foreigners who hate America and who want to see Iowans shot every time there's an election.
It's just an attempt by outside agitators to overthrow my country.

What have you gotten out of these conspiracy theories besides dead and wounded Iowans?
Before Trump, Iowans didn't get shot by Confederate Nazis in every presidential election.
We used to settle our elections without all this violence.

I have completely forgotten this, sorry.
Can you recall which thread it was in?
I will look at it again.
As for the transcript? Oh, I read it. What a mess of incoherent rubbish! And it just went on and on and on...
Unfortunately the Democrats have shot themselves in the foot with their highly specific wording of the impeachment.
They SHOULD have factored in the last 6 months of his term leading up to the election where he sowed the seeds of suspicion and undermined his base's faith in getting a fair election. He did this on a daily basis. A tweet here, a stray sentence in a rally there, flat out refusal to accept the results on election night. December he went into overdrive. Finally summoning his followers to a rally, promising: "Be there, will be wild!" His actions were broad and deliberate over months and should never have been reduced to that last speech on that last day. That speech is all they have to go on, it will be debated, the whole "peacefully" thing will come up and then the democrats will be stuck trying to prove that this base did exactly what he told them to do, which was "protest peacefully". They didn't - therefore he has no control over his base, and bears no responsibility for their actions.
Leave it to Pelosi to fuck up a slam dunk conviction!
So yeah, he used the word peacefully once. But he used Fight or Fighting over 20 times. Deploring weakness and calling for strength.
Before he took the podium there were warm up speeches calling for "Trial By Combat!" from Rudy, “Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass,” from Brooks, and I don't know what Don Jr said, the internet doesn't appear to care. This has to be factored in to determine the crowd's state of mind at the time Trump finally said his first words that day.
But this trial cannot factor in ANY of this, and will be reduced to a reading and comprehension assignment of a transcript of a chaotic stream of consciousness.
It's a mess.

No, BM.
Not all people who voted for Trump are stupid and racist.
But a lot of them are.
They're proud to show it.
