Our families are people, too. You just refuse to recognize their humanity for your War against America.

When they came for the Blacks, I was not Black, so I did not speak out.

And when they came for the Indians, I was not Indian, so I did not speak out.

COMING FOR BLACKS AND INDIANS

He rallied them around the Confederate flag.

IMO (for what it is worth) to continue to try to prosecute Trump will not only be a waste of time but increase the simmering divide .

Veteran sued for shooting woman who took his swastika flag

An Oklahoma woman who was shot several times while stealing a swastika flag from outside the home of an apparent Nazi sympathizer in June is suing her alleged assailant for $75,000.

Kyndal McVey claims in her suit filed against Alexander J. Feaster that he was “negligent and reckless” when he allegedly opened fire with an AR-15, shooting her in the back and legs as she fled his property carrying the banner she’d swiped from his house shortly before 3 a.m.

The incident occurred when McVey, 26, was attending a party across the street last summer and ran onto Feaster’s property to remove the flag. According to records posted on the Smoking Gun, Feaster was criminally charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Investigators believe Feaster — a 45-year-old veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and calls himself a patriot — was lying in wait for someone to come onto his property. A chair was placed at the home’s entrance facing the door and next to it was an ashtray containing several cigarette butts.

Feaster has been out on bail since August and goes to criminal court next month. His legal team contends “Mr. Feaster was isolated and alone, fearing for his life” and that he acted in self-defense, feeling he was in “imminent danger of death or great bodily harm.”

His lawyers also accuse McVey of trespassing and committing a hate crime against Feaster, though authorities have not charged her with anything.

In her civil claim against Feaster, McVey requests compensation for physical and psychological damages she incurred and aims to “deter the Defendant and all others from engaging in similar behavior.”

How would the appeasement of the Confederate Nazis who tried to overthrow our democracy decrease any simmering divide? You're not making any sense, here.

"Stand back, and stand by".

I don't think the divide can ever be closed.

It will continue to grow no matter what happens.

People must be held accountable for their crimes.  Trump called for "Law and Order!"  But now, because he is facing a trial he's changed his mind?

America is by its nature more to the right than the left it is also a Religious Country , it still retains with pride its settLer roots and ideology , it is deeply proud of its achievements and Military and any leader has to recognize that making a situation worse is inherently dangerous if not down right stupid .

You will never disarm the people , it is part and parcel of their culture and mindset , it is part of what made the US great

Trump will not get impeached , his followers will ensure his ability to stay out of the reach of the Left wing and the more you press the more you chase the more the Right will gather and unite this is part of History .

The more the left labels peoples and their issues whether it is BLM or the LGBT or Uncle Tom Cobbly the more the otherside will become entrenched , we are reaching a point where free speech is now almost non existent for fear of labeling groups wrongly .

Underground network readies homes to hide undocumented immigrants

(CNN) —  A hammer pounds away in the living room of a middle class home. A sanding machine smoothes the grain of the wood floor in the dining room.

But this home Pastor Ada Valiente is showing off in Los Angeles, with its refurbished floors, is no ordinary home.

“It would be three families we host here,” Valiente says.

By “host,” she means provide refuge to people who may be sought by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE. The families staying here would be undocumented immigrants, fearing an ICE raid and possible deportation.

The purchase of this home is part of a network formed by Los Angeles religious leaders across faiths in the wake of Donald Trump’s election. The intent is to shelter hundreds, possibly thousands of undocumented people in safe houses across Southern California.

The goal is to offer another sanctuary beyond religious buildings or schools, ones that require federal authorities to obtain warrants before entering the homes.

“That’s what we need to do as a community to keep families together,” Valiente says.

At another Los Angeles neighborhood miles away, a Jewish man shows off a sparsely decorated spare bedroom in his home. White sheets on the bed and the clean, adjacent full bathroom bear all the markers of an impending visit. The man, who asked not to be identified, pictures an undocumented woman and her children who may find refuge in his home someday.

The man says he’s never been in trouble before and has difficulty picturing that moment. But he’s well educated and understands the Fourth Amendment, which gives people the right to be secure in their homes, against unreasonable searches and seizures. He’s pictured the moment if ICE were to knock on his door.

“I definitely won’t let them in. That’s our legal right,” he says. “If they have a warrant, then they can come in. I can imagine that could be scary, but I feel the consequences of being passive in this moment is a little scary.”

The secret network
Rev. Zach Hoover wants to help immigrant families fearing deportation stay hidden and together.

The religious leaders have a name for their network: the Rapid Response Team. The idea is not necessarily a new one, according to Reverend Zach Hoover, executive director of the interfaith community organization LA Voice.

Hoover, 37, wasn’t an active member during the Sanctuary Movement of the 1

What BM (and Mike Pompeo) tends to forget is that we are also a multicultural country, so that, for example, in the post above, one can see how people of different faiths banded together to resist 4 years of Confederate Nazi rule, from the very start of the Trump Administration.
