Part of the problem is the PERCIEVED hold the Left is seen having control of Social Media such as FB and Whatsapp etc which are not only storing but using every method to collect data about peoples thoughts and political views etc .

The right wants to rein in the left and its hold on the media and it is here that one of the battle grounds exist

OK, first of all, these social media companies are owned by private citizens.  They can set whatever rules they want, just as I can set whatever rules I want on my start page.

It is a taciturn agreement that Delphi gives me free reign to run my forum as I wish, on the condition I don't post child pornography or snuff films.

Perfectly fair.

The far reaching size of Twitter and Facebook means these rules are not enough.  There are the libellous accusations of paedophilic cannibalism directed at Hollywood A-Listers and Democratic senators.  There are calls for violence against minorities, political factions and religious groups.  There is rampant misinformation that threatens democratic elections.  Dangerous misinformation that affects the public health.  And a WHOLE lotta hate.

Twitter and Facebook have every right to put their foot down and say "Enough!  I don't want this shit associated with my brand".

So the batshit crazy loons peddling their hate and conspiracy theories turn and point to the left, while screaming about their rights to free speech. Meanwhile, none of them are taking any responsibility for the people who have died as a direct result of the things they have said.

The 'right' are shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theatre and the 'left' are copping abuse for trying to stop people from getting trampled to death.

The most powerful of these Social media companies are of course FB and whatsapp both owned by the same team both using information from one to the other.

You have no free rein , you have parameters which you permit and then parameters that Delphi set they may seem liberal and wide but I know they are being challenged across the board as people see freedom of speech and expression as allowing untenable opinions to be expressed (this does NOT apply to you)

The more freedom given to FB etc the more the people lose control of their identities , the more FB reads the algorithms etc

It is the perceived sense that the Left are leading the march to liberalism and in its way the end of what many seem to accept as correct and right .

And yet, Medura, PUtin, China, Ayatolla and Anitfa are all welcome.  They  probably don't say hateful things though, like they're going to tear our country apart .  I would imagine it's very satisfying for them to have a voice right in the middle of the country.  Of course, there must be a financial benefit to Goggle, Twitter, et al.

It's certain that there are many of cases like this.

Republicans are going to launch civil court cases (easier to prove than the criminal cases which have mostly been rejected).

The idea is to bleed Democrats dry.  Not to mention one continuous case-by-case revelation after another of the kind of slime balls that dominate the Democratic Party.

I accept this case.  I was wary of the first link, as it was full of scam click-bait, so I googled Emanuel Zanders, III.

Small, local news stories about him came up.

This is the slippery slope you need to avoid.  It is wrong to assume that 20 = 20,000.  These are the broad, sweeping statements that have no basis in fact.

I absolutely agree that FB has a LOT to answer for!

The division, misinformation and the fact that Trump got elected in the first place is largely dumped at Zuckerberg's feet.

Their actions now are too little too late.

This is a good clip.
