Taliban: Women can study in gender-segregated universities
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Women in Afghanistan can continue to study in universities, including at post-graduate levels, but classrooms will be gender-segregated and Islamic dress is compulsory, the Taliban government's new higher education minister said Sunday.

Taliban replace ministry for women with 'virtue' authorities
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - Afghanistan's new Taliban rulers set up a ministry for the "propagation of virtue and the prevention of vice" in the building that once housed the Women's Affairs Ministry, escorting out World Bank staffers on Saturday as part of the forced move.

Where women took shelter from abuse, Taliban now in control
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - When the Taliban seized power, the operator of the only women's shelter in a northern Afghan city ran away. Left abandoned were 20 women who had fled a variety of domestic horrors, some abused by husbands or family, others forced into early marriages with older men.

Taliban issue no-shave order to barbers in Afghan province
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - The Taliban banned barbershops in a southern Afghanistan province from shaving or trimming beards, claiming their edict is in line with Shariah, or Islamic, law. The order in Helmand province was issued Monday by the provincial Taliban government's vice and virtue department to barbers in Lashkar Gah, the provincial capital.

You are, apparently, the only one here on this forum who has swallowed what appears to factual but could be propaganda. The "Newsies" crowd is banging the war drums 'cause war makes headlines.
If it bleeds it leads. II suggest caution. Remember - the Taliban needs Western help and so is trying to behave.
Remember also: it was our own US president who 'sicked' the drone on that Afghan family.

Headlines do not always explain details. The Taliban is pretty loosely organized and it can't control everything that happens in Afghanistan although Western media will blame the Taliban on every negative event that happens.
There are 32 million people in Afghanistan and there will be a lot of negative events without the Taliban ruling. The US and EU would be wise to partner with the Taliban to fight Daesh and al-Qaeda. Those two organizations are real threats to the whole world.
