KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - The Taliban banned barbershops in a southern Afghanistan province from shaving or trimming beards, claiming their edict is in line with Shariah, or Islamic, law. If it bleeds it leads. II suggest caution. Remember - the Taliban needs Western help and so is trying to behave.
Remember also: it was our own US president who 'sicked' the drone on that Afghan family.

Headlines do not always explain details. The Taliban is pretty loosely organized and it can't control everything that happens in Afghanistan although Western media will blame the Taliban on every negative event that happens.
There are 32 million people in Afghanistan and there will be a lot of negative events without the Taliban ruling. The US and EU would be wise to partner with the Taliban to fight Daesh and al-Qaeda. Those two organizations are real threats to the whole world.
