What is this beautiful pink water?

I was there during my holiday, but did not get a picture anywhere close to that.  It was overcast and little wind.

The lakes are pink because of algae.

My cousin came home and found a brown snake in her garage.

She picked up a shovel and threw it at it, killing it.

I built a building on stilts, housing the dispensary, my office and storerooms, without knowing that a king cobra was living there. It never bothered anyone but I also didn’t need to lock my doors. My labourers thought I knew and had chosen the spot expressly! LOL
