Now, if only people with wisdom, bravery, intelligence, honour, truth and mercy would ever lower themselves to go into politics.

I agree.  It amazes me that people like GW Bush and Joe Biden R thought of my some as Statesmen.

Of course neither is.  

It is pretty hard to be a successful leader and statesman/woman when social media is watching your every step.
