WOULD YOU BELIEVE
IN WHAT YOU
BELIEVE IN, IF YOU
WERE THE ONLY
ONE WHO BELIEVED IT?
Yes, of course. You still do not understand the definition of "believe" and "belief." It's a personal thing, not an "acceptance of truth." I believe that Trump is not a good president. If a majority of people believe that he is a good president, that is not going to change my belief. If a majority of people believe there is a God, that is not going to change my belief that there is no God. Give it a rest.

Not true. I have accepted that I do have beliefs. I was resisting it, I agree, but I finally came around. I only resisted because I believe beliefs are stubborn and hard to change. Ironic, I know.
I think I have faith, even. I have faith in science.
But not blind faith, as new discoveries are always being made that contradict what we previously believed to be true.
But I will always prefer ideas and opinions over beliefs. That is a belief.

I KNOW Trump is not a good man. But that does not mean he is incapable of doing good things as a President. Are you willing to acknowledge any of his successes?

I know you don't like being teased. I'm sorry. But you're the one who started this whole conversation! Every time I try to engage you in this you get cranky.
Have you abandoned your thesis?

Here lately, I've needed encouragement like : the only regrets are the chances you didn't take..... The project hubby and I are embarking on, is such a massive change in our lives, it can feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders... Which, it isn't the WHOLE world, just one little corner but that corner feels like the world....

Hey Fuzzy britches!!!
What's the project?
Consider me a shoulder to gnaw on while you go quietly insane.

Many a man whose wife deserts him throws himself on the mercy of the quart.
The capacity for getting into trouble and the ability to get out of it are seldom combined in the same person.
The one absent from the bridge party gets the most slams.
(I do not know the authors of these.)
