I can understand not being a Premium Delphi member, but had you been at all interested in my posts, you merely had to go to the most recent post to find it.

While of course I could have waded through 8000 posts searching for your post to me, and could have eventually found it, I chose not to.

You've quite accurately diagnosed the problem.

I just got a "message to me" from the Irish Culture Forum, in which I haven't posted in ages. Again, it took me to the opening post of the thread (by Harold), but I didn't go searching for whoever it was who posted to me.

Harold's post included an image, which I asssume I can copy to here, even if I can't reproduce his post. The image is fascinating, and questions the immigration status of one of our posters here.
