It's white men with whips on horseback chasing down black men.

Read the room!

The telephoto lens made it look bad. I don't think the border patrol uses whips. Officers on horseback are used around the world for crowd control and ten thousand Haitians are a crowd. The photographer has already stated that the Haitians were not harmed by the border patrol.

Translation: Think as we do, or face eternal damnation (at least among the WOKE but braindead drones of the Left).

Is that what she meant?

There is a lot of craziness out there. Perhaps that is why there is a coalition of the confused.

I think it is unfair to judge people of the past by values of the present.

In Moscow, there is a museum where you can see statues of people who have lost popularity. It is called Museum to fallen heroes. The US may want to have such a museum for the anti-woke crowd.

Well, I have to admit that my translation may be tinged with my own political ideology, but the WOKE culture currently in vogue chaps my notion of the free exchange of ideas - a notion once honored but now relegated to the place the Left throws statues it tears down and various other values and institutions.

By the way, I am familiar with the similar approach taken by the Soviets - Stalin was famous for disappearing people who had lost favor . . .

You might what to consider a visit to the forum where I hang out - DiverseCity. It's on the drop down menu above, and even Jennifer used to visit (I think the conservatism popular there finally ran her off).

Also, I see that you are in Norway. There is something called Nordic Noir - television series set mostly in Scandinavia and available here on streaming channels - and they have become my wife's and my favorites. We just finished three seasons of KELM (Blood Pact), although I'm not sure a show produced in the Netherlands fits the Nordic Noir parameters.

Bordertown was one of our favorites . . .
