Donald Trump’s Donald Trump Moment

Donald Trump showed himself as the right man at the right time in his remarks during the public swearing-in ceremony of Justice Brett Kavanaugh on Monday night. He stuck by Kavanaugh when others would have certainly abandoned him. Consider that Ronald Reagan ditched Douglas Ginsberg because he copped to smoking pot. Trump does not best the Gipper in an understanding conservative philosophy. Methinks he bests most of his predecessors in the guts department. You can’t win when raising the white flag becomes a habit.

“On behalf of the nation, I’d like to apologize to Brett and the entire a Kavanaugh family for the terrible pain and suffering you've been forced to endure,” the president told those gathered. “Those who stepped forward to serve our country deserve a fair and dignified evaluation, not a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception.” He called Kavanaugh “proven innocent.” He told Kavanaugh’s daughters that their father is a good and decent man.

And in saying all this, he said something to Kavanaugh’s underhanded pursuers. It begins with “f” and ends with “u.” You can play hangman on the letters in between.

I did not tune-in to MSNBC to gauge the reaction. I don’t think I needed to. Sometimes one need not possess the gift of ESP to know what others think.

In an age of hyper-political correctness, America needed a leader neither easily cowed nor prone to adopting the defeatist language his detractors would impose on him. Rather than appease his enemies, Trump fights them. And in doing so, he exposes their indecency. The more Trump’s enemies describe him as beyond the pale, the more they migrate beyond the pale. This ugly episode proves as much.

What the hell is "The Deep State"?

I defy you to explain it to me WITHOUT looking like a paranoid lunatic.

Perhaps the term Administrative State would serve to quiet your rising case of the vapors. It is the same thing, and refers to the great mass of unelected bureaucrats (mostly from the Left) who labor in government below the surface of our usual political turmoil, but serve mostly the agenda of the Democrat Party.

Clearly, you've already made up your mind about yours truly, but if you really wish to know why I am a conservative and not a Leftist, I'd urge you to watch this recent speech by Andrew Klavan at the very liberal University of Wisconsin. I've endeavored to explain it, but it is obvious that I have managed mostly to raise your hackles.

He nails it . . .

Dems Discovering Losing Is No Fun

Unhappy liberal.

Wesley Pruden hears democrats singing their sad old songs.

The Democrats and the liberals were winning for so long that it never occurred to any of them that the good old days wouldn’t last forever. But the good old days didn’t, and now they’re as ill-tempered as the alligator the day the creek went dry.

I got about 17 minutes in before I was too bored to continue.

Nothing he said really stood out... Perhaps you could summarise it for me.

Though I do agree that BOTH sides say incredibly stupid things.

Speaking of; what is "The Agenda of the Democratic Party"?

Is it nefarious?

That was the summary, and no one does it better.

Oh, well, so it goes.

Brutality is in the Eye of E. Holder

stilton’s place, stilton, political, humor, conservative, cartoons, jokes, hope n’ change, democrats, violence, holder, kick, civility, hillary, maxine waters, antifa, fast and furious
And of course, Holder's armed New Black Panther pals will handle the polling places.

Enraged by the fact that Donald Trump is, in fact, "winning" on the national and international stages, and doing more for America's minority communities than Obama accomplished in 8 years, top Democrats have been hard pressed to come up with a rebuttal to this administration's remarkable success. But at last, they've found something: increasing calls for physical violence against anyone who opposes their racist, sexist, and socialist policies.

And the calls for violence aren't just coming from the meth-using, basement-dwelling, Antifa minions who get a weekly allowance from George Soros (and, probably, their long-suffering parents). No, the bloodlusting battle cries are coming from top Democrats.

Eric Holder, the sleazy law-breaking bag man for Barack Obama who helped destroy the credibility of the Department of Justice, just issued a statement in which he declared that "Michelle Obama says when (Republicans) go low, we go high. No! NO! When they go low we KICK them!"

Hillary Clinton, who once swore to accept the results of the election in which Donald Trump kicked her fanny, just declared "You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That's why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again. But until then the only thing Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength."

Hang on - we're pretty sure that there's a word that distills that whole thought. "Strength" applied in a way that lacks "civility"...  Oh yeah, now we remember! That word is violence.

And let's not forget Mad Maxine Waters, who helped pour gasoline on this anti-American fire by saying "If you see anyone from the Cabinet in a restaurant, a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and create a crowd!

The Democrat agenda? The power to control people's lives. By any means necessary. (If that's not too boring for you.)

The same can be said for conservatives who want to tell women they have no reproductive rights and gay people that they cannot marry the one they love.

What do you fear the Democrats want to control?

They won't take away your guns, they won't stand up to lobbyists and they won't make any significant changes to combat climate change.

So why the hell would you fear them?  Everything you believe they will take away from you is safe due to cowardice, corruption and ineptitude.

So relax!
