Why doing a lot of HARM ?
If the US has low tariffs and quotas on Indian products then it behoves the Indian to allow the US to export with the same unrestrictive import regulations .
Why should India be allowed to retain barriers to US products why at the same time expecting one of their large trading partners to accept Indian products with virtually no restrictions this is unfair practice and good luck to Trump in his efforts to level the playing field.

I'm sorry, but what the hell is the world supposed to do?
They have turned the Ganges - their lifeblood - into a sludge of effluent and decomposing bodies, so that water is unusable.
They continually show no interest in taking care of their own environment.
They refuse to take action to curb their population.
They have 1.4 billion people. How much water does the world have to send, and continually send, before we ALL end up in the same situation?

I am not sure a democracy can introduce population controls
Wars will be fought for resources , you have to ask why Israel a dry country decided to start desalination which has been our saving where richer countries with enormous manpower don’t wont or are demonstrably late
