That's not good!

I'm the first person bolting out the door to investigate what's happening!

Followed by my dog.

We don't really have many kids in this area.

Of course, there were stacks when I was in school, but they grew up and the parents are now seniors all living in the same houses.

Australians also have an inherent need to reject anything they deem to be "too American".

Also, it was a miserable night.  I think it hailed in the morning.

It just wasn't 'celebrated' where I lived.  The main event for us kids was Bonfire night. and 'penny for the guy' and bonfire building were the important things.

Instead of imagining, look at reality where the African perception of farming is to overgraze with goats and scrawny cattle, desertify and move on to repeat the process.

That's just an outrageous and disgusting piece of racism. Africans and others sometimes damage their environment - but at nowhere near the rate and with the cynicism that settlers around the world do.

I have often seen good productive fenced farms on one side of the road and an empty wasteland on the other.

I have ruled out global warming and or its new label climate change.  Go figure.

Not in Africa. Racist.
