No.  I was literally referring to desertification, not crop-rotation or allowing land to be fallow for a year..

Diversifying a farm is the best way to save it.

Farmers are totally dependent on their government for leadership in that respect.

If the climate is changing they need to be told and they urgently need research as to what's happening to the climate.

There ain't much you can tell us Boers about farming.  The Dutch The word literally means "farmer".
