These people spent 40 days underground with no clock and erased all notion of time
Participants in an experiment requiring them to spend 40 days in a dark cave without any contact with the outside world have described feeling time move more slowly, with two-thirds of them expressing a desire to stay underground longer.

Funny! It is true though, about lucid dreaming. I dream in 3D color, and as a child was quite frightened, sometimes. Not knowing if I was awake or asleep, it blended into a mirage of fairy tales and movies.
Later, when having a lucid dream, could control my fate by making an intentional decision to float above the chaos, or fly away, often trying to help the hapless character actors escape also. :::twilight zone music:::
