I don't care what orange blob and his spawn do, they can go phuk themselves but I'll keep buying/eating Goya's products, including canned beans (red kidney). Their codfish fritter mix sucks though.

Got it. It's known in the US, especially among Hispanic/Latinamerican people. If some Hispanic individuals (e.g. Julián Castro) want to promote a boycott, that's their right, don't buy the brand. But to see Lily white Anglos, who have never, ever heard/bought any Goya products, it's totally STUPID of them to parrot the "Boycott Goya" line. I've read some of them saying "I have never bought any of their products and now I'm not..." and trust me, it comes out quite dumb, IMO.
Another individual calling for the boycott is Congressperson Alexandria Ocasio. Really Alexandria? When was the last time you had rice and beans that were Goya brand? Are you really Puerto Rican, Alex? One of Goya's food factories is located in Puerto Rico, are you going to call for its closure, Alex? After Hurricanes Irma and María, after this year's Earthquake, after the COVID-19 pandemia, you want 500+ employees to lose their jobs, Alex?
Trivial bit: The Goya Patriarch, his wife and two sons are buried in the Porta Coeli cemetery (Bayamón, PR), right across where my Parents are buried (Puerto Rico National Cemetery).
