Were they settlers, beating and robbing and killing their way across the land the way that the Zionists are doing?
Jenifer (Zarknorph) said:Only women and children remained. I don't hate Aboriginals for it, and certainly don't blame those living now.
You appear to side with settlers who were almost certainly genocidal.

I complained that "Msg 44 of <blank>" was going wrong and confusing me - but that problem seems to have fixed itself.
There's a more serious problem, any time I write a longer response there's a problem whereby the whole thing disappears.
I've just lost a particularly valuable essay, evidence of how badly Israel blackmails the UN, as its done again with this fraudulent map.
You can see the map is fraudulent, since its drawn with an "International Border" along the Jordan river which is physically present but is totally unacceptable to the UN's own legal position and the world. (Condemned by eight UNSC resolutions, even the US on board).
And it shows an "International Border" between Israel and Syris where there is nothing atall on the ground, BM just prances into the condemned war-zone which is Occupied Territory as he please.

We know they're blackmailed.
You forced them (and me) to pay for the refugees you illegally created in 1948 and 1967 and all the Christians you beat and robbed and killed from the Golan in the last 50 years.

I have to side with Berry - the present country of Israel, pursuant to the 1949 Armistice Agreement(s does not and can not have borders. The paperwork is clear - these were "armistice" or "cease fire" lines - it is specifically agreed by the signing parties that those lines are not and never can be legal boundries.
I think an excellent analogy should be what happened to my family estates in what is now Poland (old Prussia between what was Danzig and what was Koiengsberg).
History is not kind to those who lose a war. Isn't it unfair that I can not lay claim to my family's estates in what is now Poland? Is that any less or more unfair than what happened to Jordan when it lost Palestine in '67? (for those who do not know, there WAS a place called "Palestine" up to 1948, when Jordan invaded the place to TRY and put down civil unrest, but only got part of it - one of the sides in a long-ongoing civil war decided to call the place Israel, who in turn invaded what Jordan had invaded, and kept it.
Should Jordan get back Palestine? Should I get back my family's ancient estates in what was Prussia?
Absent a functioning time machine, I see no way to reverse history. No matter how much #### - hating Nazis like this "Berry" wish it were otherwise.

Civil unrest is not the dregs of war, re-armed and intent on seizing from the Nile to the Euphrates.

Israel has recognized borders with Egypt , Lebanon and Jordan ( yesterday Jordan received back land it leased to Israel 25 years ago) , Israel has recognized borders with Lebanon
Where in your opinion are there borders which are in dispute ( Golan heights aside as this is obvious)

Hello 6686L!
Is it 6686 Litres of something?
Excellent points.
I wonder if our family can get the land back that was taken from us during the Industrial Revolution?

Jordan invaded Palestine for its own strategic reasons none of them to do with a benevolent need to divide the waring factions , it lost the territory because it twice decided to go to war against Israel and in each case the Israelis asked the Jordanians to keep out of the war for their own ulterior motives the King decided to enter the affray and got nigh on annihilated for his efforts .
You go to war to win , if you lose there is and will always be a price to pay ,you are being disengenuous with your description of why Jordan became involved , it saw itself for a small moment in time creating a mini empire with the Hashemite Kings at its head https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordanian_annexation_of_the_West_Bank
Look at Jordan today a failing state , crumbling at the edges inept leadership , inept Kingship and greed have created a downward spiral leading to what will become chaos in the near future
