There are a lot of really stupid people in DC. You just know someone is going to take that tweet seriously.

I don't doubt it.
I remember back when Steve King got elected to congress 18 years ago in 2002, and first planted a Confederate flag on his desk.
He got a law passed that made English the official language of Iowa, and immediately my wife was being harassed by coworkers at work for speaking Spanish to coworkers and students.
She works as a cook here at the university, and students taking Spanish classes liked to exchange greetings with her as they passed thru the line for lunch and dinner, to practice their studies.
Antiintellectualknownothingism as its finest!
Here's an article about him published back in 2002, when he got his start.

Black man murders four-year-old white child in targeted attack. Does anyone in the media care? - Carmine Sabia Jr., PJ Media, 24 September 2020

Where are the screaming headlines on the BBC and CNN? What, no riots?

Was the black man responsible for the boy's safety?
Was he his teacher? His priest? His doctor? A police man?
A man killed a child in a drive by shooting, then turned himself into the police.
That's the story.
Perhaps if it came out of a country with less gun violence, someone would notice.

Was George Floyd an upstanding citizen? Was he a child? Did he deserve a gold casket shipped around to half-a-dozen cities for Black Lives Matter worshipers to admire and idolize his fentanyl embalmed body and remember all the people he'd violently assaulted in his life?
10/1/20
George Floyd could have been a serial killer.
He still had the right to due process and to not be executed on the street.
10/1/20
He didn't deserve the media coverage or the idolization.
One more reason I find the msm to be disgusting and one more reason I find Black Lives Matter to be disgusting.
10/2/20
I agree with the idolisation.
To revere someone who was, essentially, a suspected criminal does not do well for a cause.
But if the media ignored it, then there is a much greater danger of the police acting with impunity.
