An iconic mountain range in Western Australia's north will be renamed to remove the link to a former "tyrant" monarch responsible for the deaths of millions of people in Africa.

Give it the aboriginal name or names.  It was only called the Leopold range because the chap who discovered it in 1879, though it would be a nice tribute to a King who was also an explorer.

A five-year-long campaign to remove statues of mining executive, coloniser and African oppressor Cecil Rhodes finally gets traction in a British University.

If they get rid of Rhodes, then there will be very few statues in British cities. Pretty well everyone in the 19C was an (evil) imperialist, just as most Brits from middle class upwards in the 16th, 17th and 18th C  benefited  directly or indirectly from the slave trade. It is amusing that the last attempts to get rid of Rhodes statues and monuments were by white Afrikaners in the 50s.

It's insane!

Chris Rock's breakout HBO special has to be banned because he said the N word.

Eddie Murphy's "Delirious", too.

And NWA will have to change their name.

On this we may be approaching rare agreement. The radical far Left's cancel culture is a symptom of their totalitarian tendencies. We've seen its like before . . .

The Confederate flag and statues to confederate generals are strange, though.

Why would Americans glorify those who waged war on the United States?

Why name military bases after failed generals who lost wars?

Are you going to name the next battleship the USS Bin Laden?
