I think you need to start with a uniform system of voting across all 50 states.
If you have concerns about mail in ballots, then fix what you think is wrong.
If you have concerns about voting machines, then switch to pen and paper (very difficult to hack).
And, most importantly, don't blindly accept every claim of voter fraud as true. Investigate it.

With 20,000 troops in Washington, the US Capitol looks anything but the shining pillar of democracy it's supposed to be. Combined with Donald Trump's impeachment, it serves as a stark reminder that democracies are fragile, writes Kathryn Diss.

These are the very suggestions that those of us who ask for tightening up of voting procedures have been talking about forever.

Why do I have to keep repeating myself? We don't blindly accept every claim of voter fraud. They all have to be investigated on a case-by-case basis.

I've only noticed people talking about this since mid 2020.
The electoral college, however, really has to go.

And if they are disproven, you will accept that?

Part of the problem is the PERCIEVED hold the Left is seen having control of Social Media such as FB and Whatsapp etc which are not only storing but using every method to collect data about peoples thoughts and political views etc .
The right wants to rein in the left and its hold on the media and it is here that one of the battle grounds exist

OK, first of all, these social media companies are owned by private citizens. They can set whatever rules they want, just as I can set whatever rules I want on my start page.
It is a taciturn agreement that Delphi gives me free reign to run my forum as I wish, on the condition I don't post child pornography or snuff films.
Perfectly fair.
The far reaching size of Twitter and Facebook means these rules are not enough. There are the libellous accusations of paedophilic cannibalism directed at Hollywood A-Listers and Democratic senators. There are calls for violence against minorities, political factions and religious groups. There is rampant misinformation that threatens democratic elections. Dangerous misinformation that affects the public health. And a WHOLE lotta hate.
Twitter and Facebook have every right to put their foot down and say "Enough! I don't want this shit associated with my brand".
So the batshit crazy loons peddling their hate and conspiracy theories turn and point to the left, while screaming about their rights to free speech. Meanwhile, none of them are taking any responsibility for the people who have died as a direct result of the things they have said.
The 'right' are shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theatre and the 'left' are copping abuse for trying to stop people from getting trampled to death.
