If the Party now tasked to form a Government ( a coalition) cant then there has to be another General Election of course it is more than possible that Netanayu could win the next election it is also possible his Party - Likud could decide that enough is enough with him wriggling away trying to find cover from his court program (he is charged with 3 offences)
So he is still acting PM unless the opposition can form , coerce parties to join them

Despite everything he is or is not he is still very popular and whilst I do not like his tactics over the last 3 - 4 years I have to say he will be remembered for putting this very tiny (very) state on the Map .

The Palestinian Authority were to have an election (the 1st in about 15 years) the entire leadership of the PA has been in charge with a long expired mandate they have in reality no support from the people .
Israel has refused to allow the PA to canvas in Jerusalem (it is complex it is political and IMO we should have allowed it) because there is now to be NO ELECTION with the PA blaming Israel the result has been that the Ramadan crowds on the Mosque area have clashed with the police , these clashes are very predictable and cyclic .
Any election that may yet transpire will see the entire leadership sent home and that is possibly the root of all this trouble

This is a matter for Israel to deal with in a democratic manner ,our democracy allows the re election of a person multiple times the same as in the UK but not the same in the US .
Other than his Criminal charges I believe the history of Israel will rank BB as one of the greats despite all his failings

The postponement of legal proceedings could lower tensions, however some are warning a nationalist Israeli parade could further inflame violence.

Today, two towering pines named for Mousa and Daoud stand watch over the entrance to the garden where they all played as children...
