Cartagena, Colombia Important Sights: Palace of the Inquisition

The former Palace of the Inquisition is one block away from Casa Claver on Simon Bolivar Square. It functioned as seat of the Holy Office of the Inquisition in the 18th Century, and is now a museum with historical artifacts.

I have "gallows humor" and really wanted to break out singing the "Spanish Inquisition" song on the gallows from Mel Brook's History of the World. But resisted... Can't take me anywhere :)
