I am not sure his previous credentials really mean much , he felt the calling and off he went , he should be banned from reentry that is the price he will pay and of course in time he will eventually meet his maker at the end of an M16

Very similar to those mercenaries joining the kiddy-torturing IDF.

Dear BM - you've told us you travelled (at the mysteriously old age of 28) to hold new territory seized by a fundamentalist state - and seize more of it.
Have I misunderestimated you?

That's still older than most people join an army - and you did it as a mercenary for a group that engages in kiddy-torturing.
Be proud.

In 1973 the Israeli laws of Conscription were totally different than today , the general population was so much smaller also Soldiers were staying in the army longer as the age limit was not capped as today .
At 26 and my Brother 24 as new immigrants to the country we were seen and proved to be able bodied , the UK Zionist office which at that time was in North London also said and wrote that conscription was more than possible especially more so as we were also unmarried
Wow the resident cretin really likes to show how stupid he is

How did you feel when it was clear you had to serve in the military?
How did it upset your life?
Did you feel you had no choice, or was it simply a duty you accepted?
Were you afraid?
Sorry if these are personal questions, and I understand if you would rather not answer.
