Financially, it makes sense for a company to pay for an abortion because it saves the expense of maternity leave.

Tim Cook is responsible for Apple's bottom line.

Not only does he avoid the expense of maternity leave but he gets public relations mileage for standing up to the Texas pro-life supporters. It is why the Apple board of directors chose him to be CEO. Profits makes his share holders happy and share holders select the board of directors. The next strategy will to start transferring operations out of Texas to save the cost of transporting employees out of state for abortions.

Isn't capitalism great?

I am not implying anything except helping employees at Apple have abortions is good for Apple profits. I never mentioned thousands.
