Well, they were certainly huddled under a bridge, all 15,000 of them BEFORE the night you're speaking of.   Here is an article from NBC News explaining how the mess was cleaned up.  https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/migrants-have-been-cleared-under-del-rio-bridge-mayorkas-says-n1280055

Thanks for making my point. Norway returns all undocumented visitors to the country for which they came into Norway. If they want to apply for asylum, they have to do paperwork and wait. Most don't get asylum because they are ineligible or lie on their paperwork. And once a visitor lies on the application, he or she is ineligible for future entry. The US should do the same thing meaning all of those who crossed into Texas illegally forfeit future rights to visit the US.

Besides I think those border cowboys know full well that cameras R at the ready all the time, by the media as well as the migrants.

The US is not a banana republic, yet.

I actually knew a federal agent in Arizona who worked the border but not for immigration. He was investigating smuggling.

I have crossed the Texas-Mexico border about fifty times. I owned a business with a branch in Harlingen and I crossed the border as often as possible for tacos and other cuisine.

I'm talking about the 6,000 Haitians who suddenly disappeared FAST with cleaning crews coming in immediately...I wonder what caused that surprise?   I doubt we'll ever know.

When any migrant makes the decision to force his way into America he may expect to face discomfort.  He COULD have gone through our immigration system.  Choice.  We R not obligated to welcome them.  They R ILLEGALS after all.

In 2015, there was some fun and games on the Norwegian-Russian border where a border crossing had rules against pedestrians, motor vehicles and horses crossing the border but not bicycles.

There, refugees face a new twist: Russian law bans foot traffic at the border and Norway fines drivers for carrying migrants across — meaning the only way to cross is by bicycle.

Yes, bicycle.

The legal twist has prompted a brisk trade in used bicycles throughout Russia's Northwest — any size or condition accepted. Entrepreneurial Russian smugglers have even arranged package deals of minivans and bicycles.

You're under the mistaken impression that America has one.

Obviously we do have a workable immigration system because immigrants DO use it and become citizens.

That using our system may B tedious it does work.

700.000 immigrants become US citizens per year.  I just checked it out.

The US system has so many loopholes. As an employer, I was not allowed to hire anybody except American citizens or people with a residence visa (green card) but we did use some subcontractors who had their own employees. We were audited but the subcontractors were not because they were a "small business".
