It isn't. It's the normal German name for the Roma and Sinti. They're collectively known as Zigeuner from the Greek "singanoi"  . All the Germanic countries use the same word. The Latin countries use another derivative: gitanos, citanos, zingari. The Slav countries use  cigani.  In the UK it's gypsy or Romani.

It's what got you upset.

Go back and read for yourself.

So, you were "flailing". Got it. After all, you refused to answer a simple question.

BTW Do you have a quote where I was "upset" about the packaging? You seem to be really upset finding that the facts do not support the name change, at all.

No, because Jews and homosexuals are just that.

So are gypsies. And zigeuner is simply the word for gypsy in german. Use google translator.

The name of the sauce is an altered name, which is something the Nazis called gypsies while they were rounding them up in concentration camps.

Do you have evidence that the term was "altered" by the nazis? If not, once again, should we stop using the words Jews and Homosexuals?

No.

I'm not doing your homework for you.

I had enough of that crap from Goss.

It was in the article.

Perhaps I misread it.

No.

I'm not doing your homework for you.

Ah, yes, the common argument from someone who knows they've been cornered. I'd never thought of you as common.............

Perhaps I misread it.

It was important enough for you to argue, 1 minute of your time was too much to spend doing a bit of research?

> "Exactly.  It's a culture."

Of course, the whole concept of race itself is a cultural notion.

Ones race can change upon crossing an imaginary line on a map.

I remember a mathematician years who was a visiter on the faculty here for a while, many, many years ago.

He and his wife are from Argentina, but he got his PhD in Brazil.

In Argentina, his wife was indigenous, but once they crossed into Brazil, suddenly she became white. It was pretty funny, actually. She used to scream, "I am not white!"

Yep, Goss did it all the time.

He would demand I go back through the thread to quote his own words again and again.

He would never bother to do it himself, but always expected me to.

I have just posted two glaring examples of your dishonesty. You're simply not worth the time, anymore.............
