Farmers are totally dependent on their government for leadership in that respect.
If the climate is changing they need to be told and they urgently need research as to what's happening to the climate.

There ain't much you can tell us Boers about farming. The Dutch The word literally means "farmer".

I can't see your profile, you must have made it private.
Who is that picture? It looks like a character that belongs in "Are you being Served?"

I have to be extremely cautious what I post. There's a real risk I could be murdered.
However, I don't conceal my nationality - something Harold has done until now and I find odd.

By who? You irritate people on the forum, but no one here is going to kill you over that.

Empty, sandy seabeds are being turned into thriving reef ecosystems across Australia - created from seafood shells collected from restaurants that would have otherwise ended up in landfill.

No, it currently costs too much. However, they can and have seriously damaged my professional reputation.
Its only chance that I'm somewhat protected from that kind of thing.

What an astonishing good-news story.
This is one of 10 pilot sites in four Australian states rebuilding the enormous chain of reefs that once stretched along the coast from Noosa to Perth, that were all but wiped out by dredge harvesting last century.
Fishermen are recognsed as heroes - but I can't help thinking they're the most thoughtless and destructive pirates.

Pity you are unfamiliar with Warren Mitchell who played the TV role of Alf Garnett on "Till death us do part". He played the role of a far right-wing "bigot" who waxed eloquently against non-West Ham football clubs, his Scouser son-in-law from Liverpool, suntans, Asians, communists, trade-unionists, Harold Wilson's UK labour party etc. To know him is to know me (except I don't smoke). There are reams of articulated considered logic in his views. You Tube probably has "The thoughts of Chairman Alf" wherein he expresses himself perfectly. His views resonated and struck a chord with millions including the UK Conservative Party which offered him a candidacy. He declined. They did not realize in real life, he was a socialist Labour Party supporter.
His non-PC views would not be allowed on TV today.
Suffice to say, you do not know what you've been missing.
