That's happened when I've been dreaming, but not when I've been awake.

Funny! It is true though, about lucid dreaming. I dream in 3D color, and as a child was quite frightened, sometimes. Not knowing if I was awake or asleep, it blended into a mirage of fairy tales and movies.

Later, when having a lucid dream, could control my fate by making an intentional decision to float above the chaos, or fly away, often trying to help the hapless character actors escape also. :::twilight zone music:::

Some dreams were lucid and I realised I was dreaming and could influence the direction of the dream..

When I was still using cigarette patches to help me quit I had the most epic dreams.

As in I was the protagonist in my very own Game Of Thrones episode.

I miss that.

I don't read or watch anything exciting last thing at night. If I do I dream about it and act it out.
