Well, lets look at YOU as a prime example, shall we?
You said you was a HS teacher in California, and a lecturer/professor at Queens University, and you tell us tales of travelling the world doing educational lectures. Yet, you cant spell, or string two sentences together, even if it was necessary to save your life!

Van Gogh-Gauguin letter describing brothel visits sells for $343,500
A letter written by the two artists to painter Emile Bernard in late 1888 describing their stay in the French city of Arles is sold to the Vincent van Gogh Foundation for display in its Amsterdam museum.
