Hello, I was directed to this forum from the fine people at ww2aircraft.net. I am hoping someone can help me identify this item.

I thank you for your time.

I found this 20mm round about 40 years ago in a field near Düren, Germany. I am hoping someone could help me identify it.
On the nose, there is the following: AZ LOS DN-4-9
On the body is: 20K DM48 DN-7-9

DM 48 is the designation for a target practice / tracer loading of the 20 x 139 Hispano HS 820 / Rheinmetall Rh 202 AA (mostly) guns. It consists of the shell body of a DM 81 HE-T inert filled, with a dummy fuze and a red tracer.

It has obviously been fired, from the engraved driving band.
