More ukraine effect:

"Adversaries present new operational and tactical problems that disrupt our current military efforts. Lethal, low-cost, highly proliferated technology provides a reverse offset that can potentially generate an outsized warfighting advantage," the Marine Corps' new Force Design 2030 update says, speaking about the service's modernization efforts generally.

"Simply put, platforms that cost thousands of dollars can defeat platforms that cost millions of dollars. As demonstrated in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and presently in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, UAS [uncrewed aerial systems] platforms and loitering munitions routinely defeat armor and fighting positions with top-down attacks."...

Some downside to weapons transfers to Ukraine is reduction in arms available for Taiwan. Among other munitions, it has delayed their order for GLSDB by 3+ years.

You have a very strange view of Ukrainian response to Russian aggression.  Ukrainians chose to fight the invading enemy force, so of course large numbers of Ukrainians are being killed while fighting in defense of their land against a much bigger opponent.

Yes Ukraine chose to fight and rightly so but by April or May 2022 would have concluded the war without territorial loss and many human lives lost. Then foreign backers decided that is not what they want and since then war is largely fought as a pure proxy war and no one gives the slightest fuck about Ukraine or Ukrainians beyond their utility to fight Russia. 1y later hundreds of thousands of lives were lost and they are not even close to what would be concluded last year without the paymasters interfering and it doesn't look that will get any better any time soon.

It's a kind of bizarre same clown that was sent to Kiev with the explicit goal to prevent war's end,is sent to Texas to convince the Republicans to stick with the proxy war.

Do you seriously think if Zelensky chooses to negotiate today he would be allowed to come to terms that are not what backers now  term as  'just peace' , we have seen how that worked out last year. If the offensive fails and Ukraine has to concede territory and have hundreds of thousands dead and the country wrecked to show for , how do you think that might work out for Zelensky and  co?.............. Ukrainians at this moment like Russians are pure cannon fodder . There is no moral high ground to be had by pretending its about and for Ukraine.

Ukrainians are if we use Zeihan references now facing an extinction level (went from 50mio in 91 to 26mio population currently)event that will rival that of Syria thanks to the same set of players. By the way are we sending Tanks and missile to fight US invasion of Syria (US is just building new base in illegally occupied Syria)

One had to chuckle and what 800mio buys you with incompetent fucks like Austin , but it sure bought him a seat at Raytheon and

You definitely have to watch Oberst Markus Reisner who continues to by leaps and bounds the best source of analysis of this war(altough i  , no one else comes even close (. Folks have not the slightest idea on how and why war went the way it went . Its not even remotely what you see reported 24/7

I think you can probably get the subtitles.

Actually, my country fought an independence war when i was a kid and lucky enough after less than a week much cooler heads prevailed so we actually have direct experience on how things went, could have gone if the 'chicken hawks' were left to do their thing. Things were literally stopped from escalating by front-line commanders disobeying direct orders coming down the chain of command, the from the same dupe that went first to visit Kiev long before everyone started their procession of visits to Kiev .

T64 repair and modernization deals have been made with both Poland and Czech Republic

According to my friend that used to be a hind gunner in CZ , most of the Czech Hinds are already in Ukraine.

As with many of these reports they are often announced well after the fact.

Well they had February 23th positions on the table in April 2022 in exchange for Ukraine not joining NATO which is an undisputed fact, and now ? And it's only going to get worse and both side's positions are only hardening more lives it costs.

An "undisputed fact", is that the 30th of April 2022, the Russian army was attacking the Izyum area, marching on Lyman, trying to completely catch Marioupol, and making movements from Kherson to Mykolaev.

Not really trying to start "peace talk".

Well last i checked you had Paris peace talks over Vietnam from 68 to 72 , no one stopped operations for peace talks , where did you get the idea anyone would stop and wait for the outcomes of the talks !!!

Weeks ago Ukrainans downed Bayraktar over Kiev , yesterday Russians downed one of the Mohajer6 over Sevastopol

first captured set of black hornet drones  it seems from the units making incursions into Russia

While black hornet is a marvel of technology in  my  opinion its very niche drone with of limited use in Ukraine .

OK, Ukraine should have started "peace talks" with Russia in April 2022 in order to avoid more people to be killed, but without stopping operations, so of course people will continue to die.

Flawless logic indeed. Well let's see the results of the "peace dialogue" between Russia and Ukraine in 2026? (1968-1972 => 2022-2026)

From a historical point of view, when you have a turbulent neighbor that repeatedly invade you, starting "peace talks" when he is still on your own ground is called "being defeated".
