A return to the Volcanic principle, discussed on TFB: the 308 SCA.

The 9 mm AUPO was the last time this was tried, I think, except for Russian 40mm and some Chinese 35 mm grenade launchers, of course. In WW2 there was also the Japanese 40 mm Ho-301. The lower the MV required, the easier it becomes to succeed with this system, so a rifle version is ambitious.

How it could achieve enough gyroscopic stabilization? I mean, it looks longer than 6 calibers...
