A good haul today of unseen weapons.

Switchblade 300 caught in Nyet Net. Surprised as I had thought these were proximity airburst; perhaps the airburst is triggered not by proximity to 'something' but proximity to the video assigned target?

Fusing is one of the problems that was noted on Switchblade 300 as soon as the first ones were recovered
Lancets were upgraded to have a stand of detonation
Now even FPV drones Russians use have a secondary trigger, as RPG7 might not hit at right angles to fuse (FPV drones fly at and angle to start with) , secondary fuse makes sure it blows up anyways , while RPG migh not get good penetration its still a kilo of high explosive .
Today a video surfaced of one of these drones making a crash landing in Ukrainan trench , and the guy runs over to pick it up and then it blows in poor bastards hands.
New FPV drone model with widely spaced antenas for better signal range and the blue box is a simple DIY fuse
New Ukrainan cage for SPG

In regards to Patriot and its current abilities, this is one of the best open source discussions out there. This was posted earlier but who knows where given the length of the the thread.

At these rates Ukraine will be left without barrel tubes and sam launchers before it runs out of missiles and shells ,With over 20 hits in first 10 days of the month this is on track for record 60+ hits on SAM and SPGs this month.
So far 251 armored vehicles and artillery pieces hit by Lancets
Today stated with 2 Gvozdika SPG hit

Yes the Lancets have really proven to be Russias most effective tactical PGM.

And for lessons for future wars, really show the danger and need to develop widespread counters to higher end loitering munitions.
Is there currently an estimate of the cost for the Lancet?

France looking into an affordable anti tank missile based on lessons learned in Ukraine:
Speculation is this could be NLAW, or the MBDA Enforcer, or perhaps some other option such as the Spike-SR:

Or the Eryx missile, which was exactly designed for mass-production & cheap cost. Unfortunately, the '90s were not the good timeline for producing a low-cost, high volume antitank missile...

Electronics that would be top notch back then are considered useless today.
It's a lot easier to make a PGM these days, but people insist on asking for one single weapon to be effective against satellites, submarines, aircraft carriers, deeply buried bunkers and whatnot - this makes stuff expensive.
Maybe all that is needed is to revive and upgrade something like the Armbrust, Eryx (you mentioned it), or something else.

The NLAW is a bit of that, pretty straightforward single purpose anti-tank design. For a semi-guided ATGM $30-40k is considered 'cheap.'
By comparison I just read a report that the Javelin's new Lightweight CLU is $350k, which is totally insane. Worse, only about 180 LCLU's are made each year.
I wonder how much the self contained SPIKE-SR costs?
....
In terms of cheap ATGM, I wonder whether a short range, shoulder launched drone would be cheaper then a ATGM? Like a Switchblade 600 that only has to be able to fly 1-2km?
