Does anyone attend the NY or CT powows' ??
I plan to be at the powow in Bridgeport, CT
at the end of this month.
Maybe some of us can meet up there?
It would be nice for us to have some
BINAA get togethers sometime.
Does anyone agree?

I have my own question to be answered...

Has or does anybody reading this regularly attend conventions in
the Metro Detroit area/Southeastern Michigan?

Please answer my question as well...

Thanks in advance!

I'm on the East coast and try to attend some of the better Pow-Wows here, sometimes its a hit and miss. I'll be going to Shinnecock, Mohegan,Baltimore Indian Center,Schemtizun. Two years ago a friend and I tried to hit a lot of the East coast pow-wows and it was a bit of a disapointment.

Hi Smilingwater: I live in Bloomfield, CT and do not know if I am going to the Bridgeport Pow Wow because I have a husband who has difficulty walking and I don't like to leave him alone. However, if you do come to this area, I would love to have you visit us in Bloomfield! Just something to think about. Or if you would like to call, I can e-mail you the telephone number.

Enjoy the Pow Wow.

Maybe you can contact a local place to rent a wheelchair? That's what I have to do :) Just a thought! Some local VFW halls let you rent or just borrow them for a few days.........

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I also have arthritis in my knees, so that is the other reason it makes it hard. I can push a wheelchair on a hard surface, but it's hard on the ground.
