Cherokee Freedmen are now allowed to enroll in the Cherokee Nation as citizens with full rights and privileges.

This is the result of the March 6, 2006 ruling in the Lucy Allen Case.

Cherokee Freedmen are the only Freedmen Roll Descendants from the Five Civilized Tribes allowed to enroll with the same benefits of other citizens of their nation.

Elected Western Cherokee Chief Chad Smith is just the latest would be defenders of the upsurpers of the original Western Cherokee peoples leadership who is heavily into denial and/or leading a lot of today's obviously less than knowledgeable present tribal members to the truth:

As in among other things?

Most other indigenous nations associate the word 'civilized'  with theme being a bunch of Uncle Tomahawks...

Now we will see whether or not it applies...

FYI...

Take care...

Peace...
