What's the strangest thing you've found between the pages of a book?

The Best Things Found Between the Pages of Old Books

The Best Things Found Between the Pages of Old Books ... People also leave things in books that they want to keep safe, or items that have a particular resonance with the volume itself. One reader found a original news clipping about the sinking of the Titanic in a book about the ship and its survivors.

NY College Says Forgotten Book Reveals Lock Of George ...

And yet Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., says it has made an incredible and, experts believe, real find: a lock of George Washington's hair inside a "long-forgotten book." My husband and I bought a few books at a yard sale about 3 years ago. In one of the books were a couple of sheets of paper. On the pages were all the passwords to all the accounts that the previous owners used. They owned a small business and it included their banking passwords, too.

We took the pages back to them. We didn't try to look at their accounts.

Oh My!  They were lucky that you found that info ..and not someone a lot less honest!

I have a small notebook where I keep all my passwords, username, etc.  My son knows where it is .. just in case something happens to me.  My sister has a few of mine, facebook, here... so she can let people know if I won't be back and can close my accounts.
