Politics is just part of the news/sports/entertainment matrix now, with the issues carrying the same importance as those that separate Left Twix from Right Twix...

I've temporarily sworn off of news shows ... and I refuse to watch any awards show or late night show hosts.  Wish they'd all go back to being what they are ..... instead of being politicians

I watch the news on a daily basis but never watch awards shows, not even ones like the Grammys that I used to watch every year...

If I watch news at all, it's only in the very early AM.  I learned that the channels usually repeat the AM news all day long.  I haven't watched any awards shows in the last couple of years.  They've become boring and more about politics than about entertaining... and those that think they're funny ...aren't

I watch in the late morning and around dinner time, more frequently if something big is said to be happening...

Every once in a while when there actually is some breaking news, I channel surf to see how all the networks are covering the news.  Sure can tell the political divide!

If anything really big is going on I cut between Fox News ("California sinks because of Obama's policies") and MSNBC ("California sinks; minorities and women impacted")...
