There’s nothing like a good murder mystery to put you on the edge of your seat. But which to read next?

Good book choice!  I've read several of this author's books ... I like her style of writing.

Agreed about the quiz!

Except for Agatha Christie I have never looked for a murder mystery to read. Then I realized that there have been true crime books I was not able to out down. I belong to a true crime forum on Delphi but not for the gore, just for the mystery.

My mom was a big true crime buff ....  I was lucky that she let me read some of them.  I still like a well written true crime now and then.  R J Parker is one of the better authors,  think.   I read everything of Ann Rule's.  Do you have a favorite?

No favorite but lately I have been curious about the Black Dahlia murder in Los Angeles in the 40's. I have been curious since I saw a Lucie Arnaz movie on tv about it many years ago. Since then a retired cop has written a lot of books on the case and cracked it. A public health dr did it. I wont say the ending. It is too eerie to imagine

I read a boo about her many many years ago.  I did not know that it was finally solved.  Definitely going to take a look at the newer books.
