The Different Types of Book Formats Explained

How much do you know about the books themselves? Why are they shaped the way they are? Why are there so many different book formats? How can you fit all of these different sizes of books on your bookshelf?

I read the articles entitled "Why are Books That Shape? From Codices to Kindles, Why This Rectangle Stays Golden" and "The Different Types of Book Formats Explained."  Fascinating.  Thanks for the links.

This information was new to me ... guess I'd never even really thought about it.  Nice to know I'm still capable  of learning  :-)

I think so long as you are willing to try and keep going it is always possible to learn something new. I enjoy learning new thingss, but I also enjoy "fluff" books of pure fantasy

In my case, it depends on my mood. Normally I'm always up for something new.. but there are times all I want are my comfort books and a bag of chips  :-)
