While teething CAN be painful., in most cases parents are medicating infants to make themselves feel better. Providing extra comfort is usually all that is necessary (yes, you're baby is going to still be sore and cry) I used this product a couple of times under the direction of a parent. It provided no comfort for the child and I replace the tablets with a bottle of cold milk and extra cuddles. That worked!

The FDA is looking at the amount of belladonna in the tablets, the deaths of ten infants who had in common the fact they were all using the tablets and is asking the public to exercise extreme caution and common sense.
