I have a lot of eggs right now because I took advantage of a deal from a local restaurant that was selling a whole bunch of groceries for $40, and that included 15 eggs. It appears that they buy them in 30-egg containers, and cut them in half. I wasn't planning on baking, but maybe I'll see what I have on hand.

I bought jumbo eggs last time because they were all that were left in the store. The first day I tried them I didn't like them, but I guess my appetite has improved now and they are just as good as the others, but larger!

Hubby bought a dozen jumbo - most of them were double yolkers. I asked him to please stick to large lol

Every once in a great while, I find a double-yolker among the extra large eggs, but it's pretty rare.
