Live cam link of beautiful Yoshino Cherry Trees on the tidal basin in Washington, D.C.  Every few seconds the scene changes.  It's a terrific live cam

a new, live-streaming window

Correction:  I just read the fine print.  The view shifts every five minutes

Rightly or wrongly (?) I heard a lot of people were walking around looking at the blossoms, but I see none.

So many people were still coming that the city finally shut down the entrances - I think that was yesterday that happened.  The blossoms peaked unusually early this year.

It's it a lovely angle to view the whole scene?

When I turned it on sometime between 9 and 10 this morning and enlarged it so I could see the figures, there were several police vehicles, and the officers were putting up yellow police tape.  I also saw at least one office on bicycle.   Good move on the mayor's part.
