An idea you could look in to... At the motels where we live... they allow people to use their pool for physical therapy which for me was 1 hour... they do charge $1.00 a swimming session... All I needed was a prescription from my Dr saying that I needed a pool for physical therapy...  I took my prescription from my Dr to the motel and they in turn gave me a card that I had to show them each time I came to swim so they could punch it like they do with some gas or pizza cards... You may be able to do the same thing in your town its sure worth a phone call I know it was to me...

Lily the money your spending on Delphi Plus would more than cover the cost for swimming each month... you don't really use the editor and that's all Delphi Plus is good for.

BUT maybe your Dr would write an order for therapy in a pool that they use for PT there... they must have one at the hospital or wherever it is that they have their therapy dept. Its sure worth asking him about it as you need a swimming pool to exercise in so you can lose weight and get healthier than you currently are!

I'm sorry for the long delay in replying to your post but as you know I have been very sick and in the hospital for physical health reasons for most of the year. I However I wanted to talk to you about part of what you have said in your post to me. Mostly this part of it: You said and I am quoting your words...i will ask doctor about that it on my list of things to ask him when i see him in may too... also we going to start walking more when it get warmer too, as we have a few people that will go with us too... can take my walker if i need to rest, can sit on the seat on that too... one other thing on my list is to ask about checking my heart out... maybe a stress test as mary worried about that as i get all sweaty and have trouble with breathing at times too... end quote

Concerning your statement... Is Mary aware of your sweating disorder that you told me you have?

Is Mary aware that your asthmatic?

I know you have a rescue inhaler for when u have an acute asthma attack but I do not know if you have an inhaler that you use daily for help with your breathing? Do you?

If so what is the name of that inhaler?

Your weight could also be a cause of the sweating and also it would put un-nessary pressure on your back, knees and especially your lungs Lily.

If you lost weight all of those would improve dramatically...  I suspect that your aware of that at this point. I know your Dr sent you to a class where they taught you how to choose proper food in the correct amounts of calories for your body type ( small, medium, large, bone size. ) They also taught you how to calculate your BMI ( Body Mass Index ) score so you could get down in weight and ease the burden that your body is enduring currently...

Medications can cause people to be hungrier, but only you can choose what to eat when you get hungry...

Diabetics need to eat more frequently than other people do... that's a medical fact... I know that you need to regulate what you consume in a 24 hour period but more importantly you need to choose foods that help you to lose those extra pounds that your carrying around on your body honey.

A woman your age and height and bone structure should not be as heavy as you are. Add to that the fact that your a diabetic and all of it puts a huge strain on your heart honey. I have ALWAYS been afraid that you could have a stroke or heart attack that could leave you permanently unable to do the slightest thing for yourself... Everyone thinks that won't happen to me but... the facts say otherwise.. I am stingy~ I WANT to always be able to talk to you and be your friend... I want to support you and be able to give you anything that I can...

Please don't "Sell" the world short... By checking out far sooner than "the man" would want for you... What I mean when saying that to you is... "Your body is a temple"  ONE  you should never abuse... And as far as I'm concerned... We only get ONE BODY and we are expected to take VERY GOOD  care of it... We are actually commanded to in the Bible ~ We will have to answer for that eventually... just my feelings as we have discussed this and much more in chat as you already know...

You really need to work harder on not eating so many carbs and instead work on eating things that do not have so many carbs, sodium, fat... Eating that way will lower your numbers and the good part is you will lose weight and an additional benefit is... Your body will not be overly stressed by all those extra pounds that your lunging around currently...

It's a very fine line that your walking on hon and it's far to easy to continue to eat as you have been eating. It's far to easy to simply stay stuck and not be willing to change what we normally do... But anything worth obtaining can be accomplished by all of us... If we do the hard work that it takes to get un-stuck....

For myself personally 2017 was a horrific year for me health wise... My greatest fear was of having a stroke, that would leave me unable to function as a human being. The ONLY thing I wanted was to be able to come home and live what is left of my life doing what I love~Supporting and helping others...

I survived 6 heart attacks, kidneys shutting down twice, Dialysis, Being in Critical care, 3 times with all the , tubes every where to control keeping me alive, Severe Phenomena, 4 times,  feeding tubes, oxygen dependent 24 X 7, Double chest tubes draining the fluids out of two

I know your trying Lily I hope you didn't think I thought otherwise. Did you? y are very easy to use and do help a LOT to open you up when your having trouble breathing. Because we both have asthma I was wondering if you should ask your primary if he would get you a Nebulizer for help with your breathing. I see a specialist for my Asthma but your primary could order one for you and your insurance would cover the costs involved with it. I know how much it has helped me and many people with Asthma use a Nebulizer for help with their Asthma also. Just something else that you could do to help yourself more and certainly something to bring up at your appointment.

I want you to have everything that you need so you can live for a very long time! I'm so very happy that you have lost 40 pounds in the last year. I'm surprised you did not share that with any of us in chat or on the message board because we certainly would have supported you in that process and congratulated you as you lost all those extra pounds. I have tried explaining to you many many times the benefit of eating small meals 6 times daily but you always have told me it was not possible for you to do which I do understand that to almost anyone we all think that eating that much~ will put pounds on us not take them off. But your Doctor is right when you skip eating or forget to eat at times then you put your body into "starvation mode" which is self defeating everything that your trying so hard to accomplish. That being said you do need to eat more often but actually eat less than what you would normally consume in a day previously. You already love veggies which is awesome and you steam them which is perfect and your aware of insuring that you eat enough protein. Now if you can manage to steer clear of to many carbs and to much fat in your meals... Then you WILL lose more weight and one day obtain your perfect healthy weight.  You should also discuss what meds it is that cause you to sweat so much Lily and ask him if he would do some further testing or give you meds that do not give you those side effects honey. If its more than one med that's causing the problem~ ask about all of them also. Your a lot like I am as far as being sensitive to medications and normally if your experiencing negative side effects, Your primary Dr. will change your scripts to something else that does not have the side effects your describing. It's sure worth talking to him about  it when  you have your next appointment.

As Always, ((( love & hugs )))
