Hey all,

I've posted here once or twice before on here, usually get pretty good responses.

I have been having an issue gaining access to my opm electronic files and I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. I've been attempting to get login access for the past week and change, but I'm told my email isn't on the account. I've called, emailed, called HR (they don't even answer anymore at this point), showed up in person to the admin offices (had no idea how to resolve it) and the most I have gotten is a ticket #. I'm wondering how long this process could take, cause its already becoming pretty frustrating considering this is something that should have been taken care from day one on the job.

Are you sure you are log in the right eopf web site. If you use yahoo or Google the first option they give you is not DHS. I had the same problem when I called the HelpDesk they told me I was using NASA eopf web site. Try by going first to, then go to the VIBE page once you are there write eopf and it we give you the correct web site for "DHS eopf." If you havn't log in a year it will ask to reset your password, just remember it might have your work email instead of your personal.

Yeah I managed to email NASA as well lol. I actually already attempted to gain access through cbp net. It said my address isn't on file. I'm at loss frankly. It seems I'll have to continue to email and call, cause If ii don't get on these ppl nothing will get done. I'm just concerned I'm not contacting the right ppl.

This is what I found from the VIBE web page:

What is the Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) and how do I access my folder?

The eOPF is a comprehensive record of your personnel history with the Federal Government. It's easy to use and available 24 hours a day. Once you become employed by CBP, you'll receive an email message which will provide your User Identification number and temporary password along with instructions to access your folder.

What is the website for electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF)?    or

Remeber to use "CAPS" on your ID eOPF. In this web site you can request a new password.

The helpdesk email and phone: | (866) 275-8518

If this doesn't work then you must contact your Mission Support Specialist and request a new ID package for eopf.

As an update, in case anyone else ever gets into the same situation. I was able to gain acces finally. Go into and click on the HRM link. That gives you the email and phone numbers you'll need for eopf. They got it resolved quickly once I got into contact with them.
