Hey Greg or the rest of you who have had significant play-testing time with Fall Classic: What seems to be the most accurate auto-steal method for acquiring true-to-life SB attempts over the length of a season? Using the "+" system or the "jump" method? Or are they similar? Thanks ahead of time for your input!
Designed to be equal, but not yet tested enough. I like the + system because it's more seamless. No quick checks to the jump rating are needed.
Ive only used the + system so far and results have been good. Of course I haven't played a full season or anything, just around 90 games in 1964NL
Thanks, guys. That's helpful. I'd rather use the "+" system, but didn't want to sacrifice accuracy for ease.
I use the option where you use the D20 of the original roll. If it is covered by the jump number, then he must steal. Also use the pickoff option on steals eg D6 is a 1 look at kickoff chart. This system has worked well through about 80 games of 1989 season.
