We're looking for a nice but reasonably priced dog bed for our GSD puppy. I have found the JOYELF orthopedic memory foam bed that has good reviews from many buyers. However my only concern is that the bed is advertised for senior dogs with health issues like arthritis, etc.
Has anyone here had any experience with this kind of dog bed?
Would it be suitable for healthy young dogs?
Does anyone recommend something else?
I use a round Costco dog bed. The Kuranda is also popular.the Joyelf looks nice but is it big enough? I like bed where the covers come off for washing.
Thank you. I'll check out Costcos' beds & I'll check theirs & the Kuranda out.
I honestly don't know if the Joyelf "large" will be large enough after he's done growing. The "large" size is advertised to fit Medium-Large dogs. I expect my GSD to reach average to a bit more than average size for male GSD. I was mainly concerned about the memory/orthopedic foam not being durable enough for a young, active puppy.
I know that relative to height GSD's are longer than most other large breeds. Would you recommend the "giant" size dog bed for fully grown male GSD's?
I just got this in extra large for under $40 including tax and shipping:
I prefer flat beds to ones with sides. My dogs tend to lie partially off the beds as they sleep to get comfortable.
That’s a nice one but their model dog should have been a German Shepherd.
I know but they showed the small bed and a GSD would not fit on a small bed.
I know there is a reason. It looks like a nice bed. Who is the lucky dog?
Tybor. He doesn't chew but has a bad habit of dragging his bed outside with him.
