Well, it was awful.  Vet came to the house.  Joy was scared because she knew something was up.  I hated that she was so vulnerable, she licked my face.  She was one of the sweetest, prettiest nicest, good girls ever.  She turned 11 in July.  But she lost her mobility, really before then.

Joy was out of Jenna who was out of Arwen and Dubya, and Gispo who was out of Vegas and Xara.  Her full name was Evenstar's Joyful Endeavor, because I had high hopes for her.  But she failed with bad hips at 2 years.  Evenso, her hips did not fail her until she was over 10.  We did puppy agility, Rally obedience, CGC, and conformation with her.  She was my girl, a pleasure to have, from the moment she was whelped until her last breath left her body.

Rest In Peace my little sweetheart, my Joy.

Your beautiful girl. I’m so glad the vet was able to come to out and help you say goodbye in her own home.  Such a sweet, joyful dog.  I’m sorry for your loss.
