Nevada County Sheriff’s Office
8:08 a.m. — A caller near Spenceville Road and Sierra Circle reported the German Shepherd their neighbor got to protect their pigs attacks the pigs. The caller said the injured pigs run on to their property frequently.
That doesn’t quite sound like a SSS scenario. The GSD is attacking pigs that belong to the owner of the GSD.
My bad. Dogs mauling livestock is a non issue if they all belong to the same party. (rolls eyes)
Nowadays people would probably not disclose the issue and give the dog to someone. It used to be that if your dog attacked your livestock the dog was no good and they would, most likely, kill the dog. Farm dogs NEED to be able to distinguish between animals that are not to be interfered with and those that may be.
Sounds like a typical small town sheriff report.
What is SSS?
But a police report? Would they care?
Maybe the complaint is about the loose pigs.
These almost sound like humor. Read the rest.
