There’s a SPCA statement that talks about the current situation.

I found it. It’s a fundraising statement.

Both the Humane society and SPCA started the rumors.

As much as I disagree with leaving animals behind, we left hundreds of Americans and thousands of translators behind who wanted to get out.  If we abandoned humans, I’m not surprised at all we abandoned dogs.  It’s all tragic and it was avoidable.  I am beginning to hate politics and politicians.

They did and I believe they were killed,  probably brutally.   There was no need to abandon them and all of the equipment except for complete incompetent leadership.

What happened in leaving Afghanistan is nothing short of stupidity and incompetence.   Trump had a plan that would have safely removed all Americans, allies and animals but let's face it, Biden isn't competent.   He's never made a good foreign policy decision.

I agree. The dogs should have been evacuated and brought home or rehomed safely out of the country.
